Definition
Multiple POV means the story shifts among more than one viewpoint character across scenes or chapters. Each shift should give the reader a distinct angle on events, not repeat the same scene from scratch.
Example
Chapter one follows the detective; chapter two follows the suspect's sister, revealing information the detective does not yet have.
